What People Think They Want?

People and What They Think They What!

I have been single for 19 years, and have been living a Godly life for the most part. My heart for the past 17 years has been toward the Lord and His will and calling for my life.

For all of these years I had thought that I needed a man at my side to full filled the call of God on my life. Well I am hear to tell that is not the case. Yes the Word of God states a man should not be alone, and etc. etc. The Word also says, “A man that finds a wife shall obtain favor and blessings of the Lord.”

It does not say anything anywhere in the Word that I have found that you oh daughter shall not full fill your call because you lack a mate…. Or you oh son, whatever the case maybe.

I say this to myself as well as anyone brave enough to know the truth, and let the truth set them free.

I have heard woman say, “If I only had my mate then I could…and if my mate would go to the gym and work out with me, then I would…sis lets be real here, if you are not doing it now, you won’t when your man comes alone. I say this also to the men out there. I have heard a man say what he was looking for in a woman, actually a few men I have heard say this…I might add, these men are in there 50’s. I want a woman that can still have children, I messed up my first time around and want to have a new family…That is so sad, these men say I need a woman that is build and can climb to the top of the Rockies… Go to every country God will send, poppy poo. Gents if you are not doing those things right now, what makes you think that a woman will drive you to do it?

Something rose up in me today when all this came forth; God never said your call is conditional if you have a mate… How about being truthful with ourselves, and say it like it is. I will be honest with you, I am in the hope of a companion to share life with, but not to full fill me, only God and His calling and purpose can do that. So this is what I say to any single gents that might read this…

I am walking out my life calling, and do not need a man to conform me to his, I believe a mate is to bring good to the relationship and well as the Lady, the bible says a man that find a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor and blessing of the Lord, I am a good thing. I do not say that in pride or arrogance. I have live a life that has shaped me in and through the Lord Jesus. All other info that needs to be found out can be by the one who ask for it. Bless you for reading this. Also I would want the same from a man, I do not want a man who wants kids, been there done that. If you want me to work out with you in a gym or anything else, you had already be doing it, if you would like me to join you on mission trips, again you better already be doing it. I would like someone the Lord would send to be a blessing in everyday life, no matter what comes, storm or sunshine…

Who Do I Act Like?

I have a question?
How many of you who have ever read the bible, and got to know Jesus in a very personal way, can say He ever wavered from whom He is? Meaning Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, His actions toward us do not change. Right?

It has come to my attention from others about the Church, and how they see the Church, now most of the people I am specking about is "the Church"; however there have been some phone calls and complaints about the Church at large, No pointing fingers at any certain body, just the Church as a whole. The complaints are, I see so and so in the church, and he/she welcome me and say they are glad to see me, and then a day of two later I will see the same person in a store, and I hear them gossip, act rude, and even cuss...

I am writing this, because I feel we are call to be who we are in Christ Jesus at all times, if indeed that is who we are, don't get me wrong we still live in a flesh suit, however if our heart is truly changed and we are endeavoring to be like Christ, then something is wrong. And I know some people just look for excuses to not come to Church, however let the chips fall where they may.
I myself have come up against this kind of behavior, there are leaders in the Church who treat a person with all this and a bag of chips, until you do not bend their way. Then they are like ice water. This should not be, I have ask for people to keep me accountable for my action, I would not want to hurt any sheep with my actions that look like the world instead of Christ like.
Yes there is a line drawn in the sand, and every one of us have to know what that line is, and to be honest the older we become in Jesus that line become more defined.

King David wrote in Psalm 139:23-24 saying:
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way. "NIV”

I think all of us need a heart check up. I know I need one daily, how about you? Even when we have had a bad day, that is no reason to take it out on our families, as well the family of God, and most certainly the lost sheep, for we are truly the only bible some people read, they may pick up a bible and read it, however we as the Church act like the world, what does say to those searching for the truth, and all they get is error. Yes we will make mis-takes, and God will picks back up. I felt to get this out, because we are living is dark days, and we must allow God's Light to shine brightly so those who are lost can fine their way.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and feel to add a comment.

Balance

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share a revelation I came upon this past week. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetics about two years ago, and I did what I think most faith-walking Christian do, I said NO, I do not have that problem, and no one in my family does, I refuse to take that report. Well I did a lot of praying, and God was gracious to me, He gave me the wisdom I needed to eat right, and exercise, I became very sanative to my body and how I felt, so I knew when my sugar was high or low, however I did not know I was destroying my body by being hard headed, and refusing to take the whole council of God, And because of this I have damaged 75% of my nerves in my feet and legs, so please take heed on what you hear and read from the Lord, and obey. In Proverbs 18 amp bible says, and I paraphrase it, if you do not do all you can to heal yourself with what God has given you, then it is like a man who commits seaside. Powerful words, the Bible also says that God gave us all things that pertain to Health and Godliness, so He expects us to do our part, and then He can do His. I saw my error and repeated, and the Lord told me to go ahead and take the meds. Until the manifestation of my healing, and I have, and now my sugar has been totally at normal range, thank you Jesus... Do not be deceived God is not mocked, what so ever a man sows is what he/she shall also reap....

Where is your Security?

Where is your security? 09/27/2008

For the past months the Lord has been peeling me away on where my security lays;

Wow I thought I knew, haha. As the Lord would come and visit with me, He showed me that when certain people did show respect, or consideration, I would get my feelings hurt, and could not figure out why. Well as I sought for the Lords direction on these matters, and the root of why I felt the way I did, He began to show me.

Now it did not come all at once, I do not think my heart could have took it. The first thing He showed me was my sons, and I held them in a place that at the end cause friction, and again I did not know why the friction?

I love my sons and daughter in love and grandson so much it hurts at times. However when it comes to the Lord, Jesus had to be the one who occupied the throne of my heart. This is one of the hardest to lay down, however if I want what is best for them that is what I needed to do for all of us, so they too can find their way to Jesus.

Next I discovered that I was being very touchy with my pastor, and I am sure he didn’t know his actions were causing me pain, non-communication brings forth evil thoughts.
I knew he always had my best interest at heart, but action did not appear that way. So again back on the wheel, crush, crush goes the wheel, then the Lord again showed me my security is not in my pastor either, (which I knew in my mind, just needed a heart check up).

This past Thursday the Lord came to me and said I need to renounce self, and self-centered ways!!!!!! I went what? Me? On and on, then I got still, and I saw the thing God was saying. Life is not about me; it is about loving my Father Jesus and my neighbor as my self. SO how do you do that? One step at a time. You have to loose your life in order to gain it.

The last thing God is doing in this process is delivering from self-sufficiency. This is part of renouncing self; For pretty much all my life I have had to rely on me, I have been is survival mode for so long, that when God tries to take care of me, I feel I have to help Him out. I think I have to keep doing and doing, and now it has been showed to almost be it not a stronghold in my life. Since last January the Lord has told, “Be still and know that I am GOD”. Their have many things in my heart that wanted to run, and do and figure it all out, but God keeps saying be still.

Do you know how hard that is for someone who thinks she has had to do everything for herself? For someone who could never count on anyone to help her, just a brief background, so you will know where I am coming from in this.

“I lived in Calif. until I married at the old age of 14 years. Move to Texas at 15 with my husband in small town of 210 people after living in a million plus environment, by this time I had under gone two surgeries. We were married 20 years, and during that time, I had two wonderful lovely sons, and again under went one surgery after another, all total to present, 20 major operation, and for the most part had no help until this last two, Thank you Jesus. I have endured hardship of losing jobs and two marriage, the 2nd one because I would not renounce Jesus Christ, Lost one job and don’t even know why to this day, they just shown up after two years of faithful service and said, “Sorry we no longer require your services… In short through two marriages two kids and 20 surgeries, moving to a different state, and then God having me move to nine different places while attending Victory Bible Institute, and still going through some stuff, Lost of friends, family, lost of both parent at the age of 9 and 16. This is just a very condensed version.

I have discovered “My God shall supply all my needs.” Whatsoever it maybe, from love to food, to furniture, cloths, water, support to my emotions, spiritual, bills being paid, to a good laugh, and the one that the Lord has instilled in me is His peace, Nothing missing, nothing broken. He is the great fixer.”

I do not say all this for me, I say it to the Glory of God that is so patient with us, and He will take He good time to ensure we get it, and when we do realize He is our all in all, then
things will begin to happen.

Waking with God

I watch a movie of about a man’s life this past week, I viewed it twice; my calling again screamed at me though this. This was an autobiography of Neale Donald Walsch (if I have spelled it right) He told of how God came to him and woke him up to talk with him, and out of this Neal wrote three books called, "Conversation with God” I have not read the books as of yet, however the DVD on his life ministered much to my heart. He had said how God talks with us all day long in different ways, such as a book, or show or even an ad on a billboard, and Mr. Neale Donald Walsch is right.

The question is are we, or I should say am I listening. Are you listening to that small still voice that sounds like you? God uses our own spirit with in us to get a message, and if that does not work, He will use something else, however He is always talking to us, and He love it, and He loves it when we get.

Think a minute how you feel inside when all of a sudden you hear the Holy Spirit, and you turn to see who was talking to you! WOW chills go up your spine, hehe it is almost like the Lord running His fingers up and down your spine to tickle you. I want to just share this a bit, because God wants to wake us up, He woke me up at 4 am this morning, my first thought was good morning, and that we must have an appointment together, Oh Thank You Jesus, then He spoke to my heart to remind me of a blessing He said I was going to get, that He was more than enough, now why do you think God felt like He needed to wake me up at four in the morning to tell me this? I believe one reason is He can, but I lead toward the fact that He wanted top strongly encourage me that it was still coming, and by getting me up so early, when I had rather be asleep in dream land, He says, Good Morning Daughter, it time to get up....Is God waking you up, and do you hear Him through out your day, be still in your heart and listen to what He has to say.

What is God up to

I think God is up to all good, He is asking us to press into Him, and when I think about that, I see myself snuggling up against Him and being wrapped up in Him, all of His nature. His love, and kindness, His goodness, his trust, and blessedness, can you just see yourself, Papa God loves us all so much, He wants to take us and bounce us on His lap, and He wants to sing over us with love songs. As we allow Papa God to love us right into Heaven, then all of hellish things will be loose from us, never to be seen again. So let Him love you as you fall more in love with Him and all that He is.

Angles

The bible tells us in Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Have you ever had an encounter with your angel? I have two times now. The first time was in 1991 when I had a quad-triple back and neck surgery, there was a large black woman who stayed at by bedside all through the night; she kept turning me every few hours, she sung over me all night, and padded my back so I could cough.

I had already had a time of leaving my physical body during surgery, I had watch the doctor flip me over like a rag doll, and when I ask the doctors why they flipped me so, they were amazed I knew that.

Well after I was able to get up; I had asked about this nurse because I wanted to thank her, and the staff at the hospital said there was no such person. Somehow I knew it had to be my angel, who God sent to spare me from death, I was not ready to meet the Lord at that time.

Again Aug. 2008 was on a mission for the Lord and stop in Tulsa for a refreshing of the Lord, and I decided to go to the alter at the end of Sunday night service, and I felt the of a hand on me, for that is how it is done at this church, and I look over my shoulder at a young lady, I though ok, then on my other shoulder I felt the present of the Lord, and I looked, and it was her again, the same black lady who was my nurse that night in 1991.

This time as I turned around and the other lady was gone, and only my Angel was standing there, she spoke Jere. 29:11 into my heart, and much, much more, for the work that was ahead of me was dangerous to the soul and God was filling me up and equipping me for the war ahead.

As I left the alter that night I turn around to look at her again and she was gone.

God has ministering angels about for us, so next time when a stranger comes in your path and build you up, and you know only God could have sent them, them treat them kindly, and with honor.

Notes from
Breaking the Spirit of Mammon - Robert Morris
By Jacqueline Roland
.
Luke 16":9
1. Make friends for your selves with unrighteous Mammon so when you fail they will receive you.
You cannot serve two masters; you cannot serve God and mammon. you will love the one and hate the other.
2.mamon is: a Ceria god, meaning riches, unholy...from Babylon means sow in confusion, this spirit will say you don't need God, you need money, all money has the spirit of mammon, or the Spirit of God, all money needs to be redeemed, and you do this by giving the first portion to God, when you do this, God will bless your money for the Kingdom.
Unredeemed money only want to to have things, and wants it to serve it, it gives you false promises, of security, and happiness, and joy and peace, but money can not do that, money will cause a person to hate God, when we lack money we become upset, and thing God is not doing what He said, however God is putting us through a test to see who we will serve.... mammon says it is the answer to all things, because mammon want to be our god,,,,
it says if you have more money you will Babylon to help more people....this is a false life,
God said if you will give God the gifts that God has given you, and the money you are blessed with give it back to God and use not just for yourself, but bless the Kingdom of God. People are the only thing we can take to Heaven; you never saw a person has died take with him a trailer of his belongings to heaven.
In the book of Rev. the Anita Christ says we can not buy or sell unless we have his mark, the spirit of mammon is the spirit of Anita Christ.
When we redeem our money by submitting it to God and we will be able to save the billions of people, and when we fail which means died, there will be people from all over the world greeting us and loving us because we gave to the Kingdom of Heaven. this is the true riches.
Luke 16:9 Every life we touch through a ministry or church that helps those around the people world, we also get rewards from this.
Can God trust you? Can He know that we will be faith with true riches, and these true riches are people, however if we can not be faithful with the money God has given us, how can God trust us with people which is the true riches.
4. We must be a good Stewarts of what God has given us, and we must remember that God is our only recourse, and when God gives us something to bless a child with a cup of cold water, or food or what ever the need is, and we channel all that God has asked us to do, and pass it on, then God will pass more to us, and as long as this Holy stewardship happens, God will be able to trust us with much.... There is no limit to what God will do for a good Stewart, and for those who say I do not have enough, and as long as you have that mind set, you will never have any, but be faithful with what God gives you, and God will give you more and more...
We must remember all that we have is Gods, and we must get this in our hearts so we can finish the calls of God on our lives.
When we give, ask God for a hundred fold return in souls, that is when it truly is Holy money, and this is the only money Blessed of the Lord.

What is Faith?

What is Faith?

We hear a lot about faith today, faith in a lot of things but the real thing. The bible says in Mark 11:23, and here is the KJV with Strong’s meanings:

Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

What does this really mean for you and I?
Have you ever thought why things do not happen when you pray?
I sure have, and I got the answer a few weeks ago, so I would like to share it now with you.

We pray and pray and time marches on and nothing, is this a test from God? Are my prayers hitting the roof? Why God are you not hearing me?

These are just a few questions all of us ask at one time or another. The answer really is in Mark 11:23, let look at it together shall we….

Who is whosoever? That would be you and me. When we confess with our mouths what we would like for God to do according to His will, it shall be done, God is not a liar, and will not be mocked. Galatians 6:7-10

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Faith is what God gives us in our dreams and visions, when we are seeking the Lord with our whole heart the very place you are standing in right now is the will of God Your Father. When God give you something in His word, and in a dream hold on to it, no matter what man might say, do not let anyone or anything steal your dreams, those are Holy Things for Jesus to you. Faith is what you see with your heart and Spirit man by the Holy Spirit, things not yet manifested in the natural, however they are already in the Spirit waiting to come forth. Hang on your dreams are right there, see them with your eyes of Faith.

Lord Jesus I pray for anyone that might be reading this right now in Jesus name, they you will open up to them the gift of faith, you said in Your Word Lord Jesus, that if we have the faith the size of a grain of mustard seed we could come to You and ask what ever are heart desire according to Your will.

And we will have it, so Lord Jesus pour out to those who have need right now in Jesus name, and for all those who have never ask Jesus to come in to their hearts and live and forgive them of their sins, and be Lord and Savior of theirs live,
Just pray this simple pray and go tell someone, for my your mouth you confess the Lord Jesus Christ salvation is made unto you in Jesus name.

The Love of God

The Love of God
07/30/2008
Have you ever wondered about the times you just cannot get in the word of God? Or life just seems to take over and time slips away and at the end of a day you think; I haven’t even spoken two words to God except “Good Morning”.
It happens to everyone I am sure, however when it happens to you, all these thoughts overtake you,

1. You messed up now.
2. You don’t really love God.
3. God is going to be so mad at you.
4. You have missed your blessing.
5. Your punishment awaits you.

All these things come creeping in your mind, and none of them are true. The Lord showed me as I had walked this out with Him.

Papa God asked me if I go a day or two or even three and I have not talked to my one of my sons because they have been so busy, does that make me love them any less? NO I said, and if they should talk hard to you does that stop your love for them? Again NO. Ok what about the stun your younger son did; did it make you love him less? No Lord, it made me upset at him, but my love wanted to comfort him and tell him to rise above this and go on, that is now the pass, leave it there.

Well Papa said, don’t you think I understand as well when things get you down, or so busy you do not take as much time with me for the moment?

I live with-in you, I am always with you, if time slips away were you can not sit down a bit and read My Word, well daughter I AM the WORD. Do not let wrong thoughts enter in, trust My Love for you, and live in peace and joy whatever state you fine yourself in.

So if you ever find yourself in this way, just remember Jesus lives within you, He is always there to encourage you and bring you out to the place of His peace and joy and comfort. Just call on Him… Happy Reading

Our Mouths

I read a story today in a book that talked about these two men who were going hunting; they both dressing up in camouflage, from head gear to glasses, even their weapons was camouflage. These men were on their hunt for coyotes in Arizona, as they left out early in the morning before the sun came up they arrived at the mountainside, and hid under a big bush, and then one of the men started calling the coyotes with a sound that sounded like a hurt rabbit. These men never did catch a coyote, however a large lesson was learned, and this man Mark Hankins has pass it on through his book “The Spirit of Faith". He said as the hurt rabbit sounds went out, it was like the Lord showed him as we a Spirit filled Christians are whining and depressed and talking trash, the devil swoops in, for the squeals he hears from us is fear, and the devil is the spirit of fear, so he devours us, however if we would speck God's word with faith in our hearts and a right attitude it will shut the door on the devil and open up the windows and doors of heaven. Faith will always agree with God and when those to mixtures happens, well look out God will pour you out such a blessing you will not have room enough to contain it.

Say this prayer with me,
Father God I ask you to forgive me for acting out of fear and doubt, not really trusting you for the out come of things in my life, Help me over come the devil with the Spirit of Faith, I ask for the gift of faith that will surpass any hindrance the devil might through my way in Jesus name I thank you Lord for being so merciful to me in Jesus name amen. Freedom everyday

This is the forth of July and most of our Blessed USA is celebrating our freedom, including me, it has been a great day, I help out at the new Life Church Campus by taking pictures, and just so enjoyed it. Then spent some time at our down town celebration, wow it was great with all our local talent give it their all to God and our country. Then the cream Le` cream my son call and had me over for a cook out and special time with my family, God is so good. Freedom is to live your life everyday like a brand new sunrise brings. I am reading a book I spoke of before called "The Shack" by William P. Young, and in it the main charter ask Papa God a question, and Papa' answer to Mack was; "Mack I have already finished, and have done My part, now you do yours." Through this I found such freedom just live my life and enjoy where I am at, and don't rush through. It was once said you need to stop and smell the roses; well this is true, stop right now and smell the wonderful garden God has planted for you and enjoy His love for you.

Compromise, Don't do it

Compromise
06/26/2008

For a week or so it has been on my heart the word “Compromise”; three times now I have heard it, so I went and looked up what this word truly meant and even read some stories about it. Then I prayed and hoped I have not compromise in any of my action, but some how I think God was going to reveal to all of us, that we all have compromise in one way or another. So what I am about to write is what I believe the Lord is downloading in me as I type.

Compromise can have two meanings; one is when two people, or place or thing come to an agreement and each compromise’s something in their belief system to do so.
Like a married couple, the husband wants to go golfing, and the wife want to go shopping, so the two of them come to the middle and compromise what each want for the other, and then peace comes.

Another meaning is a city that gives in to pressure from big business, men who pressure them to go a certain way, and the city will compromise in order for these business to come into a city. Now was that a good compromise or a bad one? It will depend on what the issue was, and that is in anything that we measure.

So a big question I believe from God’s heart is “Are you compromising your faith or belief system in order to please man, or yourself? What would it mean to compromise with God’s word? I know of a church that allowed the world’s way of doing things to creep in there belief system just so they could be a seeker friendly place to come and worship however, there worship music was worldly songs that they tried to turn in to Godly songs. God does not need recycled music or recycled anything, for He is the Creator of all things. So by doing what they did “Compromise” their doors shut, and the sheep of that part of the body was scattered.

I am asking myself these same questions; some people say you just go too deep, well how deep is God? How deep and wide is His love for us? Wouldn’t the Holy Spirit want us to go as deep in Jesus as possible? There have been very deep wrinkles and spots in our souls and love feast according to what the Lord says,

I Timothy 6:14 says this: 6:14 (KJV)
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable,
Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ
1. Spot means: spotless
2. Metaph.
a. Free from censure, irreproachable
b. Free from vice, unsullied
1. Unrebukeable means: not apprehended, that cannot be laid hold of
2. That cannot be reprehended, not open to censure, irreproachable
Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
2Pe 3:14 (KJV)
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
These are just a few verses that show where we can go wrong if not alter. I felt, where are we going as a people in this nation and city we have a need to examine ourselves and make sure we do not compromise our walk. I will be real here I can see in my past some things in the finances where I messed up bad, and was lead by my soul, and not the heart of God, God wants a cheerful giver,
2 Cor 9:7 (KJV)
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly *, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Lets look at the word necessity, this word means: necessity imposed either by the circumstances, or by law of duty regarding to one's advantage, custom, argument calamity, distress, straits
So the bible says not to do give a seed because of a need right? So why does the body of Christ do this? For this is where I have been pulled in and pressured of sowing and reaping. Bad motives.
Let’s look at the word not grudgingly:
sorrow, pain, grief, annoyance, affliction of persons mourning
Lets look at the word Purpose:
1. to bring forward, bring forth from one's stores
2. To bring forth for one's self, to choose for one's self before another, to prefer
3. To purpose
Numbers 30 Making a vow. (NCB)
Moses spoke with the leaders of the Israelite tribes. He told them these commands from the Lord. 2 "If a man makes a promise to the Lord or says he will do something special, he must keep his promise. He must do what he said.
3 If a young woman still living at home makes a promise to the Lord or pledges to do something special, 4 and if her father hears about the promise or pledge and says nothing, she must do what she promised. She must keep her pledge. 5 But if her father hears about the promise or pledge and does not allow it, then the promise or pledge does not have to be kept. Her father would not allow it, so the Lord will free her from her promise. 6 "If a woman makes a pledge or a careless promise and then gets married, 7 and if her husband hears about it and says nothing, she must keep her promise or the pledge she made. 8 But if her husband hears about it and does not allow it, he cancels her pledge or the careless promise she made. The Lord will free her from keeping it. 9 "If a widow or divorced woman makes a promise, she must do whatever she promised. 10 "If a woman makes a promise or pledge while she is married, 11 and if her husband hears about it but says nothing and does not stop her, she must keep her promise or pledge. 12 But if her husband hears about it and cancels it, she does not have to do what she said. Her husband has canceled it, so the Lord will free her from it. 13 A woman's husband may make her keep or cancel any promise or pledge she has made. 14 If he says nothing to her about it for several days, she must keep her promises. If he hears about them and says nothing, she must keep her promises. 15 But if he cancels them long after he heard about them, he is responsible if she breaks her promise." 16 These are commands that the Lord gave to Moses for husbands and wives, and for fathers with daughters living at home.

I bring this up because this has been my weakness, I want to give cheerfully, and make a pledge, then, I do not have the money to pay my bills, and it is not so cheerful, I have is times past thought God spoke to my heart about a certain offering, and then the money never came or was post pone to the point of me compromising my word. In the above chapter in numbers, it talks about a husband or father breaking these vows, I truly believe because God is my husband and Father He came in and broke them, and this is all happen that I may learn to be more alter and gain wisdom from my mistakes. I love to give to the Lord and He know this, and when I hear a need my heart leaps, however if I am not able to pay my bills, because of lack in the season I am in, then it would not be very cheerful would it?
I did know that the word on Compromise was going to lead this way, how thankful I am so I could repent for my lack of faith. We as God’s people give to God what is already His, the tithe, and give our offering with gladness, for God is not mocked;
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
There is another compromise we make in God’s ways, when God wants us to write and inform the Body about something, do we? I know for me it has been hard however, I do it anyway, for God told me long ago in Jeremiah 1: 1-10
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained F1 thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
So even when I get mocked at, God will come to my rescue, and confirm His word and doings in my life and in the nations. He will for you as well, don’t be afraid, for God is with you.
Do Not compromise the leading of our Lord, and just obey with joy and you will never go wrong, but remember this; you are still in your human suit, and because of that God says;
Is 55:6-10
6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous F248 man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
So do not ever think you have arrived just because you say in His word and always listen for Him, until the day we are face to face we will not fully know Him. So keep on keeping on and preserve in Christ Jesus for He is the hope of your glory. Happy Reading

To Love God Just because.

HI, I am sorry it has been so long since I have had a post, no reason, just have not sat down to write.

I want to talk about a trip I took to Tulsa Oklahoma this past week. About six weeks ago the Lord said to go and even gave me specifics about the timing; He said go June 8th and stay 7 full days. Now I know that in the numbers of God 7 means complete, So by this I knew He was going to be doing a work in me and others while I was there.

I did get the opportunity to minister to a few folks, and was blessed by that in return with a touch from Papa God. However I was not feeling that big boom sort of feeling like, "Oh gee this is why God sent me here" it was a lot of little things that happen, being at the right place at the right time sort of thing.

I found closure to a few issues as well, and that was very good, I did however feel my time in Tulsa has ended for a long time to come, for I had lived there for four years and to my surprise there was those feel undone closures that were left to be wrapped up.

If that was not enough God shown up the last day I was there with a revelation about obeying Him that cause my whole world to be renewed.

So let me ask you a question? Why do you do what you do? If it is to obey God, then what do you expect in return for your obedience?
While I was there, people kept saying things like "Boy God is going to bless you for doing what He says, and by no means did they mean anything bad, but it was not hitting my Spirit right, it felt like someone hitting my in the stomach. As I ponder on this, the Lord showed up big time in my heart, and the answer came.

I do and go and say out of the love I have My Papa God, and it has not always been like that, because the Christians always want a prize for their obedience to Our Father. Now let me also say God is a rewarded: But that should not be our motive.

Hebrews 11:6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Romans 16:26
But now as the prophets F100 foretold and as the eternal God has commanded, this message is made known to all Gentiles everywhere, so that they might believe and obey Christ.

The laws of God are seed time and Harvest, however the one thing that stood out the most was!
I made the trip because God said so, and it was for my love for Him, I obey just because I love Him, He does not have to ever do anything again, I will still do what He ask me to do.

Prayer For America

Dear Body of Christ,

This came to me this morning and I feel we as the Body of Christ here is the USA need to stand up for America in Prayer, As I was praying I heard out of my mouth, that the USA has given her resources, her men and women to countries around the world, and with everything in array like it seems to be, I believe God is wanting us to stand in agreement with His word. We as Americans can not just sit by, we need to call in the Harvest of what the USA has been giving to other countries for over 200 years.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Gen. 19:29
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt

Gen. 9:15

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Gen. 42:9

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

Here are a few scriptures that lets us know we are not so bad that God will not remember us through His Judgment, when ever Judgment came, God always remembered His people, and Note I say His people, Lot was of Abraham, and he was spared. America is of God, and His people, we shall be spared, but we must pray. So please come together in agreement with the Word of God and pray, pray, pray in Jesus name

Fear of Control

It has been a few days since I have posted anything, but I am back.

I wanted to talk about the fear of control; and what does that really means. There was a situation in a young lady's life that brought this up recently. For years this young lady had been a faithful member of the body of Christ, loved her pastors and congregation dearly, but something was wrong. She couldn't put her finger on it, but never really could get too close to anyone, the moment she did, a situation would rise up and she would create a distance between the people and her. Only a very few people where allowed in her heart, and then she would test their faithfulness to the hilt. But in her mind that seemed to be the only way she could know if they would be true to her.

You see until very recently when everything around her went swirling downward did she take action. The Lord had told her that this only comes out by fasting and prayer. In April of this certain year she put God to His word, and fasted and prayed, on the 7th day all hell broke loose, and then on the ten day, (three days later) the truth came forth.

John 8:31-3731 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

I have inserted this to let you know this is the Word she stands on.The truth was for many years due to two fail marriages, and a cult ministry from her pass, that so control her, that it destroyed her life, her marriage, and almost her children and a dad that could care less and never protected her from bad things. So, for all these many years she was only able in her heart to stand aloof, and not really love the way she needed too, for love covers all, and at time she was not able to do that. Her fear had been if she allow a person in authority advise her or direct her steps in anyway that went across the grains of her heart, then she backed off, and put a wall up, so that person could not hurt her no more.

The root had been so deep seeded in her it was almost like part of her DNA, But God shown up, when love came in and she made a choice to be free and let love wash her clean. The one thing God said in His word;"Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. So if this is true, and it is, can God answer when people are in fear? What is fear?

IJohn 4:18 (NIV)
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
For all these years the young lady felt punished

IPeter 3:14
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened."

Can you see this is clearly not faith; ok so what is faith? What does faith look like?

Gal 3:22
But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe

Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Ok now I would like to leave you with this question, What kind of control have you feared?

Be honest with yourself and God, and confess your faults one to the other, so you will be free, and go and convert your brothers and sisters.

Love Covers

In lewd of what is happening is some churches I felt this needed to be posted, for all of us are call to love one another, But God goes a step further; God says we must love our enemies.

Today's Prayer Graduate Level ChristianityTGIF Today God Is First Volume 2, by Os Hillman05-05-2008
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matt. 5:44).
There was a man who had become a friend and mentor to me, but a conflict arose between us that we were unable to resolve. I never imagined that this man would go from being one of my best friends to an enemy. I asked God to show me how I should treat this man, and the words of Jesus came to mind, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
"Lord," I said, "surely you don't mean I'm to love this man! Not after the way he's hurt me and refused to reconcile!"
As I argued with God, I remembered that Jesus, before He was betrayed, got down on his knees and washed the feet of Judas Iscariot, His enemy. The moment that scene came to my mind, I knew what God was calling me to do. I had to wash the feet of my Judas.
This man who had been my friend and mentor had also been a client of my advertising agency. He was a Christian author and speaker, and I decided to bless this man by continuing to promote his ministry and his books.
Did he ever come back to me and reconcile? Yes, seven years later. But even if he had never reconciled with me, I knew that I did what God called me to do. I washed the feet of my Judas. I passed the test.
God doesn't promise that if we forgive there will be a happy ending. He doesn't promise that the man who refuses to pay a bill will suddenly write a check. He doesn't promise that the one who rejects reconciliation will instantly soften his heart. Jesus forgave his executioners, but that didn't keep them from nailing Him to the cross.
The Graduate Level Test is not about getting the results we want. It's about proving that we trust God enough to forgive our Judases. It's a graduate-level course in Christian obedience. But I believe that every leader whom God uses in a significant way must pass the Judas Test.
God wants to know if we are willing to be imitators of Jesus. How can we say we are followers of Christ if we won't wash the feet of our Judases? Happy Reading

The Symphony

I want to share a wonderful experience with you. I was invited to go with a friend to the Symphony last Saturday night, I am almost 53 years young and had never been introduce to this wonderful place. I was caugh up by the beauty of the music, I cried for the better part of the first portion. For some reason in my mind I thought it would be wrong to be in a place like this, however, God created all and for all.

I was caught up in the last song that Tenor David Corman sung, called “Bring him home.” I saw a vision of a heavenly choir, it was beautiful, it stretched from one end of heaven to the other, which you could n’t see the end for there really is no end in Heaven. This heavenly Choir was singing to the Lord and it just about took my breath away.

I just wonder how many other things I have missed out on because of ill thinking?

Philippians 3:8 says, “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, and whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue (life-giving) if there be any praise, think on these things.

Transforming our city for the LORD

Can a City Be Transformed

Can an entire city be transformed for Jesus Christ? The book of Acts reveals that at least one city was. There are four key ingredients required among its Christian leaders to see a city transformed. These include prayer, humility, unity, and knowledge of God's ways.

Prayer

In every city in which transformation has taken place, believers have come together to pray for their city. Prayer changes the spiritual climate of a city. Some of the main areas of influence that must be the focus of our prayers include churches and businesses; the legal, political, educational and medical fields; and the media/entertainment industry. Workplace leaders must be strategically aligned with intercessors to impact their city.

HumilityGod

uses men and women who recognize that they need each other and who do not seek glory for their work. "He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way" (Ps. 25:9). The workplace leaders that God is using today care little about being in the limelight.
UnityJesus said, "May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me" (John 17:23). God calls each of us individually and corporately to represent Christ to the world, but our independence, pride and egos often prevent us from becoming unified in the purposes of Christ.

Knowledge of God's Ways
Sometimes leaders can move in presumption instead of in a faith that is rooted in knowledge of God's ways. Such was the case of David, who wanted to bring the Ark of the Covenant into the city of Jerusalem. He was zealous for God and celebrated as he brought the Ark into the city. However, the ark was being carried into the city on a cart instead of by priests on poles, as God required. When a man named Uzzah reached out to catch the Ark when the oxen stumbled, he was immediately struck dead by God. David was devastated. He lacked a knowledge of God's ways.
Do you want to see your city transformed? Make sure the three ingredients of prayer, unity and knowledge of God's ways exist in your leadership team.

Let me add this prayer: By Jacqueline

Psalms 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the Lord, who is my refuge-- 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
