Prayer For America

Dear Body of Christ,

This came to me this morning and I feel we as the Body of Christ here is the USA need to stand up for America in Prayer, As I was praying I heard out of my mouth, that the USA has given her resources, her men and women to countries around the world, and with everything in array like it seems to be, I believe God is wanting us to stand in agreement with His word. We as Americans can not just sit by, we need to call in the Harvest of what the USA has been giving to other countries for over 200 years.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Gen. 19:29
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt

Gen. 9:15

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Gen. 42:9

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

Here are a few scriptures that lets us know we are not so bad that God will not remember us through His Judgment, when ever Judgment came, God always remembered His people, and Note I say His people, Lot was of Abraham, and he was spared. America is of God, and His people, we shall be spared, but we must pray. So please come together in agreement with the Word of God and pray, pray, pray in Jesus name

Fear of Control

It has been a few days since I have posted anything, but I am back.

I wanted to talk about the fear of control; and what does that really means. There was a situation in a young lady's life that brought this up recently. For years this young lady had been a faithful member of the body of Christ, loved her pastors and congregation dearly, but something was wrong. She couldn't put her finger on it, but never really could get too close to anyone, the moment she did, a situation would rise up and she would create a distance between the people and her. Only a very few people where allowed in her heart, and then she would test their faithfulness to the hilt. But in her mind that seemed to be the only way she could know if they would be true to her.

You see until very recently when everything around her went swirling downward did she take action. The Lord had told her that this only comes out by fasting and prayer. In April of this certain year she put God to His word, and fasted and prayed, on the 7th day all hell broke loose, and then on the ten day, (three days later) the truth came forth.

John 8:31-3731 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

I have inserted this to let you know this is the Word she stands on.The truth was for many years due to two fail marriages, and a cult ministry from her pass, that so control her, that it destroyed her life, her marriage, and almost her children and a dad that could care less and never protected her from bad things. So, for all these many years she was only able in her heart to stand aloof, and not really love the way she needed too, for love covers all, and at time she was not able to do that. Her fear had been if she allow a person in authority advise her or direct her steps in anyway that went across the grains of her heart, then she backed off, and put a wall up, so that person could not hurt her no more.

The root had been so deep seeded in her it was almost like part of her DNA, But God shown up, when love came in and she made a choice to be free and let love wash her clean. The one thing God said in His word;"Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. So if this is true, and it is, can God answer when people are in fear? What is fear?

IJohn 4:18 (NIV)
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
For all these years the young lady felt punished

IPeter 3:14
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened."

Can you see this is clearly not faith; ok so what is faith? What does faith look like?

Gal 3:22
But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe

Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Ok now I would like to leave you with this question, What kind of control have you feared?

Be honest with yourself and God, and confess your faults one to the other, so you will be free, and go and convert your brothers and sisters.

Love Covers

In lewd of what is happening is some churches I felt this needed to be posted, for all of us are call to love one another, But God goes a step further; God says we must love our enemies.

Today's Prayer Graduate Level ChristianityTGIF Today God Is First Volume 2, by Os Hillman05-05-2008
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matt. 5:44).
There was a man who had become a friend and mentor to me, but a conflict arose between us that we were unable to resolve. I never imagined that this man would go from being one of my best friends to an enemy. I asked God to show me how I should treat this man, and the words of Jesus came to mind, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
"Lord," I said, "surely you don't mean I'm to love this man! Not after the way he's hurt me and refused to reconcile!"
As I argued with God, I remembered that Jesus, before He was betrayed, got down on his knees and washed the feet of Judas Iscariot, His enemy. The moment that scene came to my mind, I knew what God was calling me to do. I had to wash the feet of my Judas.
This man who had been my friend and mentor had also been a client of my advertising agency. He was a Christian author and speaker, and I decided to bless this man by continuing to promote his ministry and his books.
Did he ever come back to me and reconcile? Yes, seven years later. But even if he had never reconciled with me, I knew that I did what God called me to do. I washed the feet of my Judas. I passed the test.
God doesn't promise that if we forgive there will be a happy ending. He doesn't promise that the man who refuses to pay a bill will suddenly write a check. He doesn't promise that the one who rejects reconciliation will instantly soften his heart. Jesus forgave his executioners, but that didn't keep them from nailing Him to the cross.
The Graduate Level Test is not about getting the results we want. It's about proving that we trust God enough to forgive our Judases. It's a graduate-level course in Christian obedience. But I believe that every leader whom God uses in a significant way must pass the Judas Test.
God wants to know if we are willing to be imitators of Jesus. How can we say we are followers of Christ if we won't wash the feet of our Judases? Happy Reading
