Fruit

As I was reading this passage the other day in Mark 21 18:22, it struck me, and I asked the Lord to enlighten me. This is what I was impressed with. All things were created by God, and all things know His voice that are of God. The fig tree would not give anything to the Lord to eat, and what got my attention was; All of us that are of the Lord Jesus is required by Him to be ready in season and out of season, and even though it was not the season for the fig tree to give its fruit, it was still required to do so, and as you know the Lord curse it....How much more is required of us when the Lord calls on us to feed the souls of the world, He has placed His Holy Spirit in us, and if we will allow Him to fill our mouth at the due and set time, then we also can give out much fruit, and be blessed by the Lord and not cursed.

Mark 21:18-22

18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." Immediately the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither away so soon?" 21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

2 Timothy 4:1-8
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at* His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Happy Reading
