Freedom everyday

This is the forth of July and most of our Blessed USA is celebrating our freedom, including me, it has been a great day, I help out at the new Life Church Campus by taking pictures, and just so enjoyed it. Then spent some time at our down town celebration, wow it was great with all our local talent give it their all to God and our country. Then the cream Le` cream my son call and had me over for a cook out and special time with my family, God is so good. Freedom is to live your life everyday like a brand new sunrise brings. I am reading a book I spoke of before called "The Shack" by William P. Young, and in it the main charter ask Papa God a question, and Papa' answer to Mack was; "Mack I have already finished, and have done My part, now you do yours." Through this I found such freedom just live my life and enjoy where I am at, and don't rush through. It was once said you need to stop and smell the roses; well this is true, stop right now and smell the wonderful garden God has planted for you and enjoy His love for you.

Compromise, Don't do it

Compromise
06/26/2008

For a week or so it has been on my heart the word “Compromise”; three times now I have heard it, so I went and looked up what this word truly meant and even read some stories about it. Then I prayed and hoped I have not compromise in any of my action, but some how I think God was going to reveal to all of us, that we all have compromise in one way or another. So what I am about to write is what I believe the Lord is downloading in me as I type.

Compromise can have two meanings; one is when two people, or place or thing come to an agreement and each compromise’s something in their belief system to do so.
Like a married couple, the husband wants to go golfing, and the wife want to go shopping, so the two of them come to the middle and compromise what each want for the other, and then peace comes.

Another meaning is a city that gives in to pressure from big business, men who pressure them to go a certain way, and the city will compromise in order for these business to come into a city. Now was that a good compromise or a bad one? It will depend on what the issue was, and that is in anything that we measure.

So a big question I believe from God’s heart is “Are you compromising your faith or belief system in order to please man, or yourself? What would it mean to compromise with God’s word? I know of a church that allowed the world’s way of doing things to creep in there belief system just so they could be a seeker friendly place to come and worship however, there worship music was worldly songs that they tried to turn in to Godly songs. God does not need recycled music or recycled anything, for He is the Creator of all things. So by doing what they did “Compromise” their doors shut, and the sheep of that part of the body was scattered.

I am asking myself these same questions; some people say you just go too deep, well how deep is God? How deep and wide is His love for us? Wouldn’t the Holy Spirit want us to go as deep in Jesus as possible? There have been very deep wrinkles and spots in our souls and love feast according to what the Lord says,

I Timothy 6:14 says this: 6:14 (KJV)
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable,
Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ
1. Spot means: spotless
2. Metaph.
a. Free from censure, irreproachable
b. Free from vice, unsullied
1. Unrebukeable means: not apprehended, that cannot be laid hold of
2. That cannot be reprehended, not open to censure, irreproachable
Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
2Pe 3:14 (KJV)
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
These are just a few verses that show where we can go wrong if not alter. I felt, where are we going as a people in this nation and city we have a need to examine ourselves and make sure we do not compromise our walk. I will be real here I can see in my past some things in the finances where I messed up bad, and was lead by my soul, and not the heart of God, God wants a cheerful giver,
2 Cor 9:7 (KJV)
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly *, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Lets look at the word necessity, this word means: necessity imposed either by the circumstances, or by law of duty regarding to one's advantage, custom, argument calamity, distress, straits
So the bible says not to do give a seed because of a need right? So why does the body of Christ do this? For this is where I have been pulled in and pressured of sowing and reaping. Bad motives.
Let’s look at the word not grudgingly:
sorrow, pain, grief, annoyance, affliction of persons mourning
Lets look at the word Purpose:
1. to bring forward, bring forth from one's stores
2. To bring forth for one's self, to choose for one's self before another, to prefer
3. To purpose
Numbers 30 Making a vow. (NCB)
Moses spoke with the leaders of the Israelite tribes. He told them these commands from the Lord. 2 "If a man makes a promise to the Lord or says he will do something special, he must keep his promise. He must do what he said.
3 If a young woman still living at home makes a promise to the Lord or pledges to do something special, 4 and if her father hears about the promise or pledge and says nothing, she must do what she promised. She must keep her pledge. 5 But if her father hears about the promise or pledge and does not allow it, then the promise or pledge does not have to be kept. Her father would not allow it, so the Lord will free her from her promise. 6 "If a woman makes a pledge or a careless promise and then gets married, 7 and if her husband hears about it and says nothing, she must keep her promise or the pledge she made. 8 But if her husband hears about it and does not allow it, he cancels her pledge or the careless promise she made. The Lord will free her from keeping it. 9 "If a widow or divorced woman makes a promise, she must do whatever she promised. 10 "If a woman makes a promise or pledge while she is married, 11 and if her husband hears about it but says nothing and does not stop her, she must keep her promise or pledge. 12 But if her husband hears about it and cancels it, she does not have to do what she said. Her husband has canceled it, so the Lord will free her from it. 13 A woman's husband may make her keep or cancel any promise or pledge she has made. 14 If he says nothing to her about it for several days, she must keep her promises. If he hears about them and says nothing, she must keep her promises. 15 But if he cancels them long after he heard about them, he is responsible if she breaks her promise." 16 These are commands that the Lord gave to Moses for husbands and wives, and for fathers with daughters living at home.

I bring this up because this has been my weakness, I want to give cheerfully, and make a pledge, then, I do not have the money to pay my bills, and it is not so cheerful, I have is times past thought God spoke to my heart about a certain offering, and then the money never came or was post pone to the point of me compromising my word. In the above chapter in numbers, it talks about a husband or father breaking these vows, I truly believe because God is my husband and Father He came in and broke them, and this is all happen that I may learn to be more alter and gain wisdom from my mistakes. I love to give to the Lord and He know this, and when I hear a need my heart leaps, however if I am not able to pay my bills, because of lack in the season I am in, then it would not be very cheerful would it?
I did know that the word on Compromise was going to lead this way, how thankful I am so I could repent for my lack of faith. We as God’s people give to God what is already His, the tithe, and give our offering with gladness, for God is not mocked;
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
There is another compromise we make in God’s ways, when God wants us to write and inform the Body about something, do we? I know for me it has been hard however, I do it anyway, for God told me long ago in Jeremiah 1: 1-10
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained F1 thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
So even when I get mocked at, God will come to my rescue, and confirm His word and doings in my life and in the nations. He will for you as well, don’t be afraid, for God is with you.
Do Not compromise the leading of our Lord, and just obey with joy and you will never go wrong, but remember this; you are still in your human suit, and because of that God says;
Is 55:6-10
6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous F248 man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
So do not ever think you have arrived just because you say in His word and always listen for Him, until the day we are face to face we will not fully know Him. So keep on keeping on and preserve in Christ Jesus for He is the hope of your glory. Happy Reading

To Love God Just because.

HI, I am sorry it has been so long since I have had a post, no reason, just have not sat down to write.

I want to talk about a trip I took to Tulsa Oklahoma this past week. About six weeks ago the Lord said to go and even gave me specifics about the timing; He said go June 8th and stay 7 full days. Now I know that in the numbers of God 7 means complete, So by this I knew He was going to be doing a work in me and others while I was there.

I did get the opportunity to minister to a few folks, and was blessed by that in return with a touch from Papa God. However I was not feeling that big boom sort of feeling like, "Oh gee this is why God sent me here" it was a lot of little things that happen, being at the right place at the right time sort of thing.

I found closure to a few issues as well, and that was very good, I did however feel my time in Tulsa has ended for a long time to come, for I had lived there for four years and to my surprise there was those feel undone closures that were left to be wrapped up.

If that was not enough God shown up the last day I was there with a revelation about obeying Him that cause my whole world to be renewed.

So let me ask you a question? Why do you do what you do? If it is to obey God, then what do you expect in return for your obedience?
While I was there, people kept saying things like "Boy God is going to bless you for doing what He says, and by no means did they mean anything bad, but it was not hitting my Spirit right, it felt like someone hitting my in the stomach. As I ponder on this, the Lord showed up big time in my heart, and the answer came.

I do and go and say out of the love I have My Papa God, and it has not always been like that, because the Christians always want a prize for their obedience to Our Father. Now let me also say God is a rewarded: But that should not be our motive.

Hebrews 11:6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Romans 16:26
But now as the prophets F100 foretold and as the eternal God has commanded, this message is made known to all Gentiles everywhere, so that they might believe and obey Christ.

The laws of God are seed time and Harvest, however the one thing that stood out the most was!
I made the trip because God said so, and it was for my love for Him, I obey just because I love Him, He does not have to ever do anything again, I will still do what He ask me to do.

Prayer For America

Dear Body of Christ,

This came to me this morning and I feel we as the Body of Christ here is the USA need to stand up for America in Prayer, As I was praying I heard out of my mouth, that the USA has given her resources, her men and women to countries around the world, and with everything in array like it seems to be, I believe God is wanting us to stand in agreement with His word. We as Americans can not just sit by, we need to call in the Harvest of what the USA has been giving to other countries for over 200 years.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Gen. 19:29
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt

Gen. 9:15

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Gen. 42:9

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

Here are a few scriptures that lets us know we are not so bad that God will not remember us through His Judgment, when ever Judgment came, God always remembered His people, and Note I say His people, Lot was of Abraham, and he was spared. America is of God, and His people, we shall be spared, but we must pray. So please come together in agreement with the Word of God and pray, pray, pray in Jesus name

Fear of Control

It has been a few days since I have posted anything, but I am back.

I wanted to talk about the fear of control; and what does that really means. There was a situation in a young lady's life that brought this up recently. For years this young lady had been a faithful member of the body of Christ, loved her pastors and congregation dearly, but something was wrong. She couldn't put her finger on it, but never really could get too close to anyone, the moment she did, a situation would rise up and she would create a distance between the people and her. Only a very few people where allowed in her heart, and then she would test their faithfulness to the hilt. But in her mind that seemed to be the only way she could know if they would be true to her.

You see until very recently when everything around her went swirling downward did she take action. The Lord had told her that this only comes out by fasting and prayer. In April of this certain year she put God to His word, and fasted and prayed, on the 7th day all hell broke loose, and then on the ten day, (three days later) the truth came forth.

John 8:31-3731 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

I have inserted this to let you know this is the Word she stands on.The truth was for many years due to two fail marriages, and a cult ministry from her pass, that so control her, that it destroyed her life, her marriage, and almost her children and a dad that could care less and never protected her from bad things. So, for all these many years she was only able in her heart to stand aloof, and not really love the way she needed too, for love covers all, and at time she was not able to do that. Her fear had been if she allow a person in authority advise her or direct her steps in anyway that went across the grains of her heart, then she backed off, and put a wall up, so that person could not hurt her no more.

The root had been so deep seeded in her it was almost like part of her DNA, But God shown up, when love came in and she made a choice to be free and let love wash her clean. The one thing God said in His word;"Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. So if this is true, and it is, can God answer when people are in fear? What is fear?

IJohn 4:18 (NIV)
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
For all these years the young lady felt punished

IPeter 3:14
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened."

Can you see this is clearly not faith; ok so what is faith? What does faith look like?

Gal 3:22
But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe

Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Ok now I would like to leave you with this question, What kind of control have you feared?

Be honest with yourself and God, and confess your faults one to the other, so you will be free, and go and convert your brothers and sisters.

Love Covers

In lewd of what is happening is some churches I felt this needed to be posted, for all of us are call to love one another, But God goes a step further; God says we must love our enemies.

Today's Prayer Graduate Level ChristianityTGIF Today God Is First Volume 2, by Os Hillman05-05-2008
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matt. 5:44).
There was a man who had become a friend and mentor to me, but a conflict arose between us that we were unable to resolve. I never imagined that this man would go from being one of my best friends to an enemy. I asked God to show me how I should treat this man, and the words of Jesus came to mind, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
"Lord," I said, "surely you don't mean I'm to love this man! Not after the way he's hurt me and refused to reconcile!"
As I argued with God, I remembered that Jesus, before He was betrayed, got down on his knees and washed the feet of Judas Iscariot, His enemy. The moment that scene came to my mind, I knew what God was calling me to do. I had to wash the feet of my Judas.
This man who had been my friend and mentor had also been a client of my advertising agency. He was a Christian author and speaker, and I decided to bless this man by continuing to promote his ministry and his books.
Did he ever come back to me and reconcile? Yes, seven years later. But even if he had never reconciled with me, I knew that I did what God called me to do. I washed the feet of my Judas. I passed the test.
God doesn't promise that if we forgive there will be a happy ending. He doesn't promise that the man who refuses to pay a bill will suddenly write a check. He doesn't promise that the one who rejects reconciliation will instantly soften his heart. Jesus forgave his executioners, but that didn't keep them from nailing Him to the cross.
The Graduate Level Test is not about getting the results we want. It's about proving that we trust God enough to forgive our Judases. It's a graduate-level course in Christian obedience. But I believe that every leader whom God uses in a significant way must pass the Judas Test.
God wants to know if we are willing to be imitators of Jesus. How can we say we are followers of Christ if we won't wash the feet of our Judases? Happy Reading
