I haven't been able to sleep very well for the pass few nights, I toss and turn and finely get up to see if the Lord would like to say something, or have me pray. Last night, nothing, tonight, I get up and get my bible, for two days I have been seeing 222, on the clock on the cable box, on a marque, seems like everywhere I turn I see it. As I go to open my bible it falls, yeah you guessed it, Joel 2:22, I started to read in the 21st verse, and it blew me away, I share it with all of you because I know a lot of us are going through a wilderness journey of some sort.
Joel 2:21-27
21 Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice; for Jehovah hath done great things.
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth its fruit, the fig-tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first [month].
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker-worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of Jehovah your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never be put to shame.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is none else; and my people shall never be put to shame.
I would like for you to notice, God says here two time not to be afraid, and my people shall not be a shame. When the Lord says something twice it is established. How many of you if you would be honest, felt some sort of shame because the place you are on your journey?, I know with the things the Lord has asked of me over the years the devil tried his best to but shame on me, BUT GOD, read the above again and again until you have put the devil back under your feet where he belongs. Happy Reading.
I have to add this for I feel it is very important, at 2:00 am the Lord would not allow me to sleep, the above post and Micah, Amos, Acts 9 were given to me. at 4 pm 03/31/2008 a hugh fire broke out in our city once again, this is the third great fire to hit, but over 150 fires all together this year alone. I add this to ask as a body of believers to watch and pray, and be ready, in Jesus name. I am very grateful to the lord that no lives were hurt or lost during these times.

Divine Direction
All my life in the Christian world I have been called a Joesph, and Esther, you know you tend to think of all the glamor of these two peoples lives, however you must see what they went through to get to where they are, and that is the same for all of us, The following was an email I received this morning and just had to blog it. For this is my life, people wonder why I go through the things I do, I even question it, what sin am I doing? Am I in God's will? and if I am why is this thing happening to me, Well here is the answer for me, as well as anyone who is going through the same thing, God Bless and Happy Reading.
Divine DirectionRev. James C. Matthews
"Then some Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him up and lifted Joseph out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. Thus they brought Joseph into Egypt." Genesis 37:28
Often, when we look for direction from God we seek the miraculous. We search for a sign, a voice or a vision to make our paths plain. However, God can and does employ more common (even painful) experiences in our life to provide direction for our lives. We lose a job, experience a break up in a relationship, financial instability, stricken with an illness or something is taken from us. These "life events" may be God's way of causing us to look in another direction. God will often close a door, to point us in the direction of another.
God has a purpose and plan for our lives. The problem is - so do we. Often our plans and God's plan are not the same. We often seek things that are short sighted. God knows this and allows certain events in our lives to point us in the right direction. Often these situations look nothing like what we think God's plan for our lives should look like. We must be careful not to misconstrue God's direction as persecution. "God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
If anyone's life demonstrates this principle it's Joseph. Joseph received a dream from God revealing his destiny. In his dream he was in a place of prestige and power. In a matter of days, Joseph went from being his father's favorite son to being a slave in a foreign land. He was thrown into a pit, sold into slavery and taken to Egypt to spend the rest of his life. Unbeknownst to Joseph, all of this was God's way of positioning him to fulfill his purpose in life. Joseph had to go into the pit, to meet Potiphar. Potiphar's wife had to falsely accuse Joseph for him to be sent to prison. It was in prison where Joseph met attendants in Pharaoh's court. It was because of this time in prison that Joseph received the opportunity to meet Pharaoh. When he met Pharaoh he entered into his destiny.
When Joseph laid his head down to sleep that first night in Egypt he was far from home, but squarely within God's plan. God declares: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, "declares the LORD." For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9). I am sure Joseph saw the changes in his situation as set backs, when in reality they were setups. God was providing "divine direction" through what appeared to be disaster. Each disappointing turn in his life pointed him in the direction of his destiny and purpose.
Some of you may be experiencing what appears to be a disaster or dead end in your life, when in fact it's direction. As you experience your transition, never lose sight of God's sovereignty. Sometimes God allows us to lose control so that He can take control. When Joseph's brothers threw him into the pit, I am sure he had no idea he had taken the first step toward his destiny. After looking over his life and all that had transpired, Joseph was able to say to his brothers: "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result..." (Genesis 50:20). Everything he thought was an accident was really providence. It was divine direction!

Just Obey
God is so awesome, we need to simply obey daily, ask Him for the directions of the day, the Now, and as we take the steps He gives us, then His Light is enough to see. Then we will always be in the right spot at the right time and doing the right thing.
God says, If we love Him we will obey Him. Let me ask you a question; Do you think a loving Father who layed down His own life for His kids would ever tell you something that would cause you harm and sickness? NO He wouldn't.
The greatest pleasure in the world is knowing you are hearing the voice of God and being confident with His love and His ability to get you to the very place He has called you too. Step by step as you place your foot into the foot print of the Lords, you will never go wrong. Happy Reading

Perception
What is our view or perception on the life we live? I choose this rose color font to set in motion your thinking. I recently wrote a book; the book is based on life in general, however 75% is my own life experience's and sent part of it to my older sisters, and one of them came back and ask if I remember this or that. I had a glimpse of some memory it which she asked about, but not all.
Are we looking through rose colored glasses? How is it you perceive our earth, our country, and Jesus Our LORD? Some people still see Jesus as a baby in a crib, some a little boy, If you have asked Him into your heart and to forgive you, you just might see Him as the Christ, the Anointed One.
How do you see the fullness of Christ? Just a one time event? A fussy feeling? A tingle all over? The Word of God says Jesus in the Son of God, born of a virgin. Think about that, how do you see it?
Matthew 1:1818 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
When we have all of Him we are filled with all of Him inculding the Holy Spirit, and this is what the Word says about that.
Mark 16:15-2016 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Acts 2:1-4
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Jesus makes a good point in this next verse: I have underlined, now remember these men had hung around Jesus for 3.5 years, and Jesus makes this statement!
John 14:4-11
4 And where I go you know, and the way you know." 5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him
The Lord says if we truly love Him we will obey Him, not just when we want something, or feel like it, we obey because we love and Honor Him.

Destiny
November 30, 1998
This was an paper I wrote in my College English Class, I just found it, and thought this is for right now.
Many people struggle to discover their purpose in life. Some are in an almost desperate quest to fine God's perfect plan to discover whether or not they will ever know the security of living in the perfect will of God. Before a person can walk in the will of God, they must what it is. In 1Corinthians 16.9 Paul the Apostle wrote, "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." Something is always trying to confuse you and block your way. When you are looking and asking for a door of opportunity to open, ask for Wisdom. In James 1:6 it says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God and he will give it in abundance to those who ask." Keep in mind that nothing comes all at one time, but there is a start, middle, and finish. Always know that God is on your side. He is cheering you onwards. Be thankful for the hard times in life, as well as the good, for here is where true Godly Character and maturity is built. When you walk through the darkness of life, God is right there holding your hand, guiding your steps. In these times a person must decide to get aggressive in your attitude toward the adversary, the devil. If you do not allow him to get to first base, then he can not get to second. Don't ever settle for less, God says to go for the best He has for you. Watch out for compromise, walk in integrity, don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Be positive in the steps you take even if you are not sure it is the will of God, know that He loves you and as you believe that He is leading you, His plan for your life will unfold. God works all things out for good, for those who love Him, and are called according to His purpose.

Gifts
This morning I have been pondering on the gifts and talents that the Lord has placed inside each of us. I see in my heart like in the old west days where people would go out to get water from their well. It took fining the Pall and then taking the steps out to the well, it did not matter what the weather was, because they were thirsty and was in need if the water. We as God's people are like that well, we have inside us gifts that were placed there my God. However, we need to fitch our Pall (purpose) and go deep inside us and get the gifts that have been laying there dormant.

True Success
I heard it said that True Success meant passion and vision, and it does not always mean dollars and cents, how we get things turn around, so lets follow the heart of God as it matches our heart, and do not look back.
